Editorial note:  In 1977, the bilingual (English-Chinese) journal Street / Jietou published André Jadis' article  on Huang Mei-shu's staging of Yao Yi-wei's play "A Suitcase" ( 一口箱子 ,  Yikou xiangzi). 
The director, Prof. Huang, kindly provided the photos inserted into this article. In order to facilitate access to these web pages, relatively low resolution jpg. images have been used.
